How to reach Ecole Centrale de Lyon by public transport ?

By plane from Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport

  • take the Rhônexpress train and stop to Lyon Part-Dieu train station (about 30 minutes, round trip ticket 23 €, you can purchase your ticket at a vending machine or online).
  • Metro B : direction Stade de Gerland, stop Saxe-Gambetta ;
  • then metro D : direction Gare de Vaise, stop Gorge de Loup ;
  • then bus n°3 : direction Dardilly Le Jubin or Limonest Le Puy, stop Campus Lyon Ouest.

(travel time : between 1 h 20 min and 2 h).

By train from Part-Dieu SNCF station

How to reach Ecole Centrale de Lyon by car ?

From Paris

  • Join the A6 towards Lyon.
  • Take the exit Écully.
  • At the roundabout take the 2nd exit (av. du Bon Pasteur) direction “Pôle d’Enseignement et de Recherche”.
  • At the next 2 rounabout, go straight to through the Chemin de Pontet et Crases, and then at the 2nd light turn left onto the avenue Guy de Collongue.
  • Continue for about 300 meters.
  • The École Centrale de Lyon is located at the bottom left of the avenue.

From Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport

  • Exit the airport following signs Lyon/Chambéry/Grenoble.
  • Then follow A43 Lyon.
  • On the A43, take the interchange with the A46 following Lyon, then take exit Paris / Bourg-en-Bresse / Périphérique Nord.
  • Continue on the Périphérique Nord (toll) towards Paris then get the A6.
  • Take the exit Écully/Champagne, follow Écully (on the left) puis Écully Le Pérollier (2nd right)
  • (then see above).

From the train stations SNCF of Perrache and Part-Dieu

  • Take the A6 towards Paris, then take the tunnel under Fourvière.
  • At about 2 km from the exit of the tunnel, take the exit Écully/Champagne, follow Écully (on the left) then Écully Le Pérollier (2nd right)
